The first and the last Taiwanese drama I ever watched was the Meteor Garden series. I was only in fifth grade at the time. I've never watched any Mandarin-language dramas after that. Listening to Mandarin gives me this awkward feeling; I'm used to and familiar with both Korean and Japanese languages, but Mandarin is a little too foreign for me.

Nevertheless, I really want to drown myself in Asian entertainment since the summer workshop ended and one Taiwanese drama caught my attention. I've heard about it before and its main storyline, but because it was in Mandarin, I never had the guts to watch. But now I do! So right now, I'm on the fourth episode of Rainie Yang and Mike He's Devil Beside You.

I almost got fed up with Yang's exaggerations, but then Mike He showed up in the scene and the rest is history.

After this drama, I'm planning to watch/download the following:

1. Personal Taste (Korean; I'm interested to see Lee Minho acting as a gay)
2. My Girl (Korean)
3. First Kiss (Japanese)
4. Tokyo Tower (Japanese)
5. Goong (Korean; YES I've never watched this yet!)
